Bobby's Gin was born from a cherished family recipe that bridges Dutch tradition with Indonesian spirit. In the 1950s, Jacobus Alfons—known to family and friends as Bobby—migrated from Indonesia to the Netherlands, where he fell in love with Dutch Jenever but longed for the flavors of home.

Bobby infused his spirit with Indonesian spices and herbs, unknowingly creating his own unique gin. Decades later, his grandson Sebastiaan discovered an old bottle in his mother's house and was inspired to bring his grandfather's creation to life. He traveled to Schiedam, the birthplace of gin, and partnered with the 7th generation Master Distiller of Herman Jansen.

After two years of crafting and tasting, Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin emerged—eight botanicals including juniper, clove, lemongrass, and cubeb peppers, each distilled separately before being masterfully blended. The result is Dutch Courage fueled with Indonesian spirit.
