Storywood Tequila represents a unique fusion of Mexican tradition and Scottish innovation - born in Mexico, shaped by Scotland. This remarkable partnership began in 2016 when founder Michael Ballantyne, Scottish-born and Texas-raised, discovered his mother's hometown of San Miguel De Allende and fell in love with tequila.

What makes Storywood exceptional is their pioneering use of Speyside Scotch whisky barrels for aging. Master distiller Carlos Hernandez Ramos produces tequila from 10-year-old blue weber agave in Jalisco's lowlands, using natural spring water from Volcán de Tequila. The spirit then matures in premium Scottish oak, creating flavors no other tequila can match.

From their Reposado aged 7 months to their award-winning Añejo aged 14 months in Dufftown single malt barrels, Storywood offers tequila that tells a truly international story.
